CAGIS is serving as a subcontractor to the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute
on a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency for their Regional
Vulnerability Assessment program. This program will attempt to model
the region's vulnerability to threats such as pollution, invasive plant
species, resource extraction practices and the effects of land use
change. CAGIS' role will be to provide web hosting for data and models
related to vulnerabilities and to make them available to analysts
performing assessments.
